COPPER INQUARTS

Inquarts are used in the assaying of gold by fire assaying technique. Some inquarts are offered in a plastic coating and some are offered in lead or copper matrix for ease of handling. All inquarts are free of gold content. The 100 mg copper inquarts contain 2.2 mg Silver content while the other copper inquarts are silver and gold free. When oxidized, the copper within the copper inquarts stains the cupel after conclusion of the cupellation process.
